Privacy Policy: The Panjabiyat Publishing App

This policy explains how the "panjabiyat" app handles information. Anurag Kamboj (anuragkamboj.com) runs the app for the Punjabi news channel The Panjabiyat. It is an internal publishing tool. Only The Panjabiyat's own team uses it, to post our own videos to our own Facebook Page, Instagram account and YouTube channel. It is not offered to the public, and members of the public never log in to it.
Information the app accesses
- Details of our own Facebook Page, Instagram account and YouTube channel (names and account IDs) that are needed to publish.
- The videos, captions and cover images we create and upload.
- Publishing status and basic performance figures (views, reach, engagement) for our own posts.
- Comments and messages on our own posts and accounts, only when our team reviews or moderates them.
The app does not offer "Log in with Facebook" to anyone. It does not collect information about people who watch or comment on our posts, beyond what Meta or Google shows us as the owner of the Page or account.
How we use this information
We use it only to publish and manage The Panjabiyat's content, confirm that posts went out, and understand how they perform. We do not build advertising profiles, and we do not sell, rent or share this information with third parties.
Services we use
The app works through the Meta Graph API (Facebook and Instagram), the YouTube Data API (Google) and Cloudinary, which hosts copies of our own videos so Instagram can fetch them. Each service's own privacy policy applies to the data it processes. Our use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements, and YouTube's Terms of Service.
Storage and retention
Access keys and publishing records (post IDs and links) are stored securely, and only our team can access them. We keep publishing records for as long as we need them to run the channel and delete them when they are no longer needed.
Data deletion
If you have commented on or messaged The Panjabiyat and want us to delete any information about you that we hold, email anuragkamboj0000@gmail.com with the subject "Data deletion request" and a link to the comment or message. We will delete it within 30 days and confirm by email. You can also delete your own comments on Facebook, Instagram or YouTube yourself at any time.
Children
This app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information about them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top.
